Sites That Will BUY Your Phone
Check the price that you can get for your phone on each of the following sites in order to try and get the best deal. Some sites want just the charger, but some pay more if you have the accessories or manual and some sites charge varying amounts depending on the condition of your mobile phone.
Important: Some of these websites are listed on cashback sites such as QuidCo! Do a search before registering!
- Banana Green - an easy to use site who will buy your phone.
- cex - a site which buys and sells all sorts of goods. That includes phones!
- envirofone - this site pays cash for your phone, although they’ll pay you a little bit more if you will accept an Argos giftcard as payment. They pay slightly less for damaged phones.
- mazuma - this site is a good one for a high payout, especially on high-end phones. They also have a rate for damaged phones.
- Mobile2Cash - this site offers upto £150 for your old phone. They also buy phones that don’t work at a lower rate.
- MobilePhoneBuyer - another site which offers a generous amount of cash and will buy broken phones at a lower rate too.
- Mobile Phone Xchange - this site also boasts upto £150 for your phone. They pay between 30% and 90% of the value for broken phones, but don’t give you the exact figure.
- Mopay - this site pays cash for your phone, although they’ll pay you a little bit more if you will accept an M&S giftcard as payment. They even buy phones that are no longer working, albeit at a lower rate.
Places to SELL Your Phone
This takes a little bit more effort than the sites above but you should be able to earn a little bit more for your troubles. Remember to do your research in order to get the best price. If you can get more for your phone by selling it to one of the sites above then do that!
Trade It In!
If you’re buying a new phone then it’s worth finding out whether that company will take your old phone as a trade-in, as many do. Try a google search for the company name and “trade in” - if they take them then a page from their website should appear somewhere. Alternatively, you could give them a ring.
Remember, don’t just buy from a certain retailer because they’ll give you a good trade-in value for the handset. Make sure you get the best mobile deal, as you can always sell the phone or get cash for it from one of the companies listed above.
