About Me
In February 2005, a user called “duckmagicuk2” signed up to popular deals site “HotUKDeals.com“. That user was me. In May of that year I joined the team on the new website in the role of “Mobile Hunter”, later taking on duties as a moderator as well. In this role I not only searched for mobile phone deals on both contract and pay as you go mobile phone handsets, but I also made every effort to give advice to members when they needed it. This ranged from information about the contracts that they had purchased to directing them to a specialised unlocking site in order to find out how to unlock their handset.
I decided to make some special “threads” on HotUKDeals, which provided information on a wide variety of topics. These threads, over time, became out-of-date and lost formatting in an update of the HotUKDeals site which took place in December 2007.
I have created this site partly to provide a centralised place for links back to useful information on HotUKDeals and, if the opportunity arises, provide information which might not quite suit HotUKDeals. Please let me know if there’s anything that you would like to see included here.
